How to Use Die Line Templates
Best for design professionals or those confident in design software.
Using our templates gives you full creative control, but requires technical know-how and proper formatting for accurate print results. Here are some helpful tips — please feel free to reach out with questions!
Getting Started
Download Your Die Line Template: Download the product template directly from the product page of the item you’re customizing. When your ready upload your artwork though our online design tool.
Design Set Up Tips!

Layers:
- Hide the “Guidelines” and “Die Lines” layers before saving.
- Only include the artwork you want printed.

Print Ready PDF:
- Save as [PDF/X-1a:2001] for best accuracy and preflight (Illustrator).
- Save as [High Quality Print] to preserve transparency.

Color Mode:
- Set color mode to CMYK.
- RGB will be converted and may appear differently.

Bleed & Safe Area:
- Place all artwork within the Blue “Cut” area- this is the visible portion.
- Extend backgrounds to the Green “Bleed” area for edge-to-edge printing.
- Artwork on glue flaps will not appear when assembled.
- No need to add crop marks or printer's marks.

Image Resolution:
- Use 300 dpi or higher for all images to ensure a clear image
- QR Codes recommended size: 2cm x 2cm for for scan reliability.
• Minimum size: 1cm x 1cm.

Typography & Line Weights:
- Font size should be 8pt or larger for readability.
- Outline all fonts before saving as a PDF
- Use lines 0.5pt or thicker for best print clarity.
- Vector graphics are strongly recommended for sharp results.
Final Checklist!
- Download the correct die line template from the product page.
- Set color mode to CMYK and save as a print ready PDF.
- Use high-resolution, vector-based graphics wherever possible.
- Ensure QR codes are large enough to scan — 2cm x 2cm is ideal.
