Welcome to PrintLab by WEC. The terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to PrintLab by WEC, a service of Worcester Envelope Company (WEC). PrintLab by WEC operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services in order to provide you, the customer, with a custom printing and packaging experience (the “Services”). PrintLab by WEC is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

The below terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these “Terms of Service” or “Terms”), describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.

By visiting, interacting with, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, you should not use or access our Services.

 

SECTION 1 - ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you have given consent for any minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own or manage.

To use the Services, including browsing our store or purchasing products or services, you may be asked to provide information such as your email address, billing details, payment information, and shipping information. You represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete and that you have the necessary rights to provide such information.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to another person.

 

SECTION 2 - OUR PRODUCTS

PrintLab by WEC provides custom printed products including but not limited to packaging, envelopes, cards, printed materials, and related services.

We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, colors and product appearance may vary due to monitor settings, screen calibration, device differences, and printing processes.

Printed products may vary slightly in color, trimming, material texture, or finish from what appears on screen or in digital proofs.

We do not guarantee that the appearance or quality of any products will match exactly what is displayed online.

All product descriptions are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product and to limit quantities offered to any person, region, or jurisdiction.

 

SECTION 3 - ORDERS

When you place an order, you are submitting an offer to purchase products and/or services from PrintLab by WEC.

PrintLab by WEC reserves the right to accept, reject, cancel, or limit any order at its sole discretion. An order is not considered accepted until payment has been successfully processed and we have begun processing your order.

Please review all order details carefully before submitting your purchase. Many of our products are custom manufactured and produced specifically for each customer. As a result, orders may not be eligible for cancellation once production has begun.

Orders may be canceled within 48 hours of placement. After the 48-hour cancellation period has expired, cancellation requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to our discretion based on the status of production and any costs already incurred.

If we cancel or modify an order, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you using the contact information provided at the time the order was placed.

All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy, where applicable.

By placing an order, you represent and warrant that your purchase is for lawful purposes and that any artwork, designs, content, or materials submitted by you do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights or other legal rights of any third party.

 

SECTION 3a - User Content & Marketing Use (Opt-In)

If you choose to opt in to being featured by selecting the applicable checkbox at checkout, you grant PrintLab by WEC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, and distribute your submitted designs, artwork, and related order content (including photos, videos, and production footage) for marketing and promotional purposes.

This includes, but is not limited to, use across our website, social media channels, advertising, email marketing, and other promotional materials, including “follow my box” or similar behind-the-scenes content.

By opting in, you represent and warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to grant this use, and that the content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • This permission is voluntary and may be declined without affecting your order.
  • No compensation, credit, or royalties will be provided for the use of your content unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We may edit, crop, or adapt the content as needed for marketing purposes.
  • We are not obligated to use or publish any content.

If you wish to revoke this permission in the future, you may contact us at printlabsupport@worcesterenvelope.com. Revocation will apply to future use but may not apply to materials already published or in production.

 

SECTION 4 - PRICES AND BILLING

Prices, promotions, and discounts may change at any time without notice.

The price charged for a product will be the price displayed at the time the order is placed and will appear in your order confirmation email.

Unless otherwise stated, prices do not include:

  • applicable taxes
  • shipping or handling charges
  • customs duties or import fees

You agree to provide accurate and current billing and payment information. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all amounts associated with your order.

You represent that:

  • the payment information provided is accurate
  • you are authorized to use the payment method
  • charges incurred will be honored by your payment provider.

 

SECTION 5 - SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Shipping and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

PrintLab by WEC is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, weather conditions, or events outside our control.

Title and risk of loss pass to you when the products are transferred to the shipping carrier.

 

SECTION 6 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content within the Services—including trademarks, logos, text, images, graphics, layouts, designs, and software—is the property of PrintLab by WEC, Worcester Envelope Company, its affiliates, licensors, or partners and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may use the Services only for personal or business purposes related to purchasing products or services from PrintLab by WEC.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or otherwise exploit any content from the Services without our written permission.

The names PrintLab, Worcester Envelope Company, and associated logos and designs are trademarks of their respective owners.

Shopify’s name, logo, and associated marks are trademarks of Shopify.

 

SECTION 7 - OPTIONAL TOOLS

The Services may provide access to tools operated by third parties. These tools are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties or endorsements.

We are not responsible for the functionality or performance of third-party tools.

Your use of such tools is entirely at your own risk.

 

SECTION 8 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services.

We do not control or endorse these websites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

Accessing third-party websites is done at your own risk.

 

SECTION 9 - RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

PrintLab by WEC uses Shopify to power its ecommerce platform.

However, all purchases made through the store are transactions between you and PrintLab by WEC / Worcester Envelope Company.

Shopify is not responsible for the products, services, or transactions conducted through the store.

 

SECTION 10 - PRIVACY POLICY

All personal information collected through the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Because our store is hosted on Shopify, certain information may also be processed according to Shopify’s privacy practices.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these policies.

 

SECTION 11 - FEEDBACK

If you submit feedback, suggestions, reviews, or other content (“Feedback”), you grant PrintLab by WEC a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute that Feedback for any purpose.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit such Feedback.

We are not obligated to maintain Feedback in confidence or provide compensation.

 

SECTION 12 - ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS

Occasionally there may be typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions related to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, or availability.

We reserve the right to correct such errors and cancel or update orders if necessary.

 

SECTION 13 - PROHIBITED USES

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes.

You may not use the Services to:

  • violate laws or regulations
  • infringe on intellectual property rights
  • upload malicious software or viruses
  • distribute spam or fraudulent communications
  • impersonate others
  • interfere with the functionality or security of the Services.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time without notice if you violate these Terms.

You remain responsible for any outstanding payments owed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrintLab by WEC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free use of the Services.

 

SECTION 16 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrintLab by WEC, Worcester Envelope Company, and their affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services or products purchased through the Services.

 

SECTION 17 - INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PrintLab by WEC, Worcester Envelope Company, Shopify, and their affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • your violation of these Terms
  • your misuse of the Services
  • your submitted content or artwork.

 

SECTION 18 - SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

 

SECTION 19 - ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PrintLab by WEC regarding use of the Services.

 

SECTION 20 - ASSIGNMENT

You may not assign these Terms without our written consent.

We may assign these Terms without notice.

 

SECTION 21 - GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Worcester Envelope Company is headquartered.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting updates on our website.

Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
